The Antilles Islands is a wonderful chain of tropical paradises within the West Indies that are bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of America and the Caribbean Sea which rally do make them the life of the party. These islands include Jamaica, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Barbados, Aruba and St. Lucia. What else can be said except these islands rock? Well, these islands have tons and tons of colorful history, the aqua blue waters are second to none, there’s amazing marine and wildlife everywhere and supposedly there is rhum somewhere. And yes, the rhum is quite delicioso and each island boasts the best. So how do we get all this into one bracelet? Let’s start by having a 50 - 65-million-year-old Fossilized Shark Tooth as a shout-out to the biggest and baddest fish of the sea. Let’s add some Turquois Magnesite Stone that resembles the color of those calm, aqua blue waters and Hand-Carved Yak Horn that is reminiscent of old rhum barrels. The Coconut Wood, Puka Shell and Hand-Carved Yak Bone add even more island flavor to this piece. The Big Bone Mala Skull that hangs down oh-so nicely under the wrist represents the Caribbean pirates that sailed those salty seas not so long ago. I really dig this piece and love the shape and color of the shark tooth---it’s very unique. This bracelet looks fantastic on the wrist and is a statement piece for sure. If you want a bracelet that says you’ve been to the Antilles, this is the one. For some reason now, I need rhum man...that Bone Mala Skull told me so.
