What else can be said about Italy’s Cinque Terra? It really is a gift made by the sea, the mountains and mankind and was given to us on a colorful plate just to admire. Yeah, this area gets crowded during certain times of the year and it can be very frustrating based on such a picturesque setting, but the feast for the eyes is so dang worth it. The Cinque Terra region is a string of centuries-old seaside villages on the Italian Riviera coastline. There are 5 towns linked by the famous Sentiero Azzurro cliffside hiking trail which is worth doing---leave the trains to the tourists. It really is a camera’s dream vacation. I tell ya, if you can get up at the crack of down and head down to any town’s water’s edge, it is quite peaceful…no crowds and only you getting to watch the sun hit those magnificent colors of the stone walls and buildings at the right time. If you’re lucky enough to hire a boat for a morning or a sunset trip to glide down the coastline to see those colorful towns perched up on the rugged mountain sides, you feel like you won the lottery. This bracelet was made to showcase some of the colors that really pop out at you in the Cinque Terre. It’s a statement piece and looks like a little piece of artwork on the wrist. The Bamboo Coral, Hand-Painted African Recycled Glass and African Ashanti Glass Beads resemble the tile work on some of those old villas and the Recycled Glass Beads reflect the color of the deep blue water along the coast. The Ox Bone Disk Beads add a little old-world flavor and a quirky Bone Mala Skull is a reminder that sometime its worth fighting the crowds to find some amazing little moments that add the color back into your life. Cin cin!
