When I made this piece, I had Copenhagen on my mind (not the tobacco snuff---haha). It's such a cool place to chill with its amazing city architecture and brightly colored homes that line the old canals. There’s been so much said about this urban space, but there’s an underlying tone to Copenhagen. There's a quiet, clean and functional organizational order to this city which this bracelet also has. This piece is crisp and clean with a smooth, calm feel to it even though it’s a chunky beast. It somewhat feels like the old and modern eras coming together at a small table outside an off-beat cafe. The Greenish Stained Glass does resemble some of those colored buildings and the Stainless-Steel Nuts represents the modern, undertone flare of this ancient town. The Olive Wood Beads add an old-world flavor and also remind me of the old wooden barrels that used to come off the tall, masted ships in the harbor. Afterall, Copenhagen was the center of trade for centuries. The Large Acacia Wood Mala Skull represents the quiet contentment and the happiness you feel sitting at that cafe table alone in your own thoughts...are ya thinking about this bracelet now?
