If you have ever been to or through Death Valley in California’s Mojave Desert, you know it’s a scorching hot, bone dry and desolate place. But is it really? Yes, it is thought to be the hottest place on Earth during summer and is the point of lowest elevation in North America. However, if you love to explore, then Death Valley is your metropolis. Not only are the vistas incredible, but Death Valley is a graben (block of land between two mountain ranges) with salt pans, sand dunes such as Mesquite Flats and  tons of geological finds that are second to none. What’s unexpected is some of the wildlife you can experience such as Bighorn Sheep, tons of Red-tailed hawks and the local wild donkeys. Granted, you gotz to get up pretty dang early in the morning or stick around till dusk to catch a glimpse of them. The best way to explore Death Valley is to hit the open roads and just cruise. Don’t hurry (it’s not like you’ll be stuck in traffic) and take your time checking out the incredible geology showing itself at every turn of the head. The tan and brown color tones of that desert valley are monochromatic, but the textures of the rough terrain really make them pop. This bracelet resembles all those colors and textures you’ll experience. The Tiger’s Eye Stones resemble the lateral rock formations and the Crocodile Wood brings in the crags of the mountains. The Hand-Carved Yak Horn and Ox Bone remind you that Death Valley is the home of the Timbisha Tribe and is a place full of life. The Large Mookaite Jasper Skull is a shout out to all the prospectors who sought to cross the valley on their way to the gold fields---that’s how the valley got its name. The skull really looks cool sitting up on the wrist and basically says hi to all on comers. The Small Bone Mala Skull is a reminder for you to jump in your car from time to time to hit the open road so you can experience places like this. Bring tons of aqua  ‘cause your gonna need them. Don’t forget to wave a hand at those passing by.
