Man, do we love sharks and it's why this bracelet was made! The Farallon Islands (or Farallones) off the coast of Northern California and are known as the 'Devil's Teeth Islands' by ancient mariners for a reason. They are very isolated and closed to the public due to be designated as a Wildlife Preserve by Teddy Roosevelt back in the day. Not very many get to see them without a special tour, which is a good thing. They are rich with tons of bird life, sea lions and to some of the biggest sharks to ever roam the oceans. Those islands are really just big, jagged rocks that are surrounded by gray-colored stormy seas and the big sharkeys that hunt and patrol those islands were the inspiration for this piece. The Gray Sea Jasper, Black Lava Rock, Keyhole Limpets Shell and Puka Shell all reflect the look and feel of those mysterious islands. The 50 - 65-million-year-old Fossilized Shark Tooth is a shout-out to those sharks and really looks the business on your wrist---it definitely is a conversation piece. It's really only a guess how big those sharks get in that isolated piece of the Pacific and what they get up to out there, but I'm sure they are glad we aren't around to disturb things. Keep the oceans as you find them and grab this bracelet to show you love for our big brothers and sisters that circle the seas...
