This was a fun bracelet to make and is based on County Donegal that is in the province of Ulster and is the northernmost county of Ireland. And boy, does this place evoke the Irish poets and makes your camera weep for joy. There is so much to see there and the difference between a sunny or a stormy day doesn’t make a difference. You will be in snapshot bliss. It is a mountainous region and boast the longest coastline in Ireland. The way those mountains tumble into the sea is fantastic and getting a chance just to see Errigal Mountain covered in snow or to find a sunny day wandering on Murder Hole Beach are worth the journey. And the history here abounds so be ready. Hitting places like Donegal Castle, Doe Castle in Sheephaven Bay, Kilclooney More, the bridge of Tears in Falcarragh and Malin Head will get the head spinning so make sure you take the time to duck inside one of the many pubs in the region for a pint of Mother’s Milk (aka Guinness) to reflect on what you just learned and saw. You should also be thinking how this bracelet would look too fantastic on your wrist as you raise that pint of the best beer ever made. This really is a fantastic looking bracelet that looks the dang part. The Green Jade in this piece resembles those deep greens you only find in Ireland. The Hand-Carved Jerusalem Wood adds a Gaelic Tribal feel to it and the Brass and Ox Bone give it an antique vibe. The Bone Mala Skull is a shout-out to all the Irish Poets who make us laugh and cry.
