This is a nice, big chunky piece and is as tough as the men and women who have worked Gloucester Harbor for centuries. Gloucester is located about 25 miles northeast of Boston, Massachusetts and not only is it picturesque, it also oozes history, fishing and Americana culture. Gloucester is one of the oldest fishing seaports in the U.S. due to it being near the feeding grounds of Tillies Bank and Jeffreys Ledge. It’s also one of the best places to view whales in the world (in the old days it was a little different). This part of the country is beautiful and the heart of it, is this harbor and people. You can't mistake the sights, sounds and smell of this harbor....so vivid to this day. I swear, you literally can smell the history here. If you take along your camera on a bright, sunny day or on a gray, stormy day, you’re gonna be in heaven. It’s a great place for a quick weekend---walk along the harbor to grab some of that famous saltwater taffy or take a schooner cruise around the bay to feel the waves  and sea. Make sure to check out the Man At The Wheel Statue and the Fisherman’s Wives Memorial to get a true perspective of this place. Whatever you do, you’ll remember your time here. I love this bracelet!
