Helnaes (Helnæs) is a little out-of-the-way island on the southwestern coast of Funen in Denmark. There is a nice little roadway bridge leading out to the island with the sea on either side and a picturesque lighthouse built in 1901 as its main attraction. It's not a destination for the tourist hoards because there's not much to do except explore the island on foot. However, Helnaes is a perfect little place for some solitude and to bring in salty air into the lungs. The scenery is quite quaint and the colors from the grassy bluffs to the sea seem a little muted...like a nice filter. The highest point of the island is Galgebakke, at only 29 feet. This bracelet's colors resemble the red, gray and tan colors of those small eroding bluffs around the island. There is an Antique African Pottery bead to represent the same color as the top of the lighthouse and there are 3 Antique 1931 10 Ore Danish Coins to bring in the bracelet’s authentic heritage. Also included is a Small Bone Mala Skull to remind you of the feeling of contentment that you have while standing on the island’s bluffs and looking out towards the blue green sea. There’s a nice weight to this piece and it has a very clean look. If in Denmark, take a jaunt out to this little treasure of a place for some true relaxation and don’t forget to bring along your bling.
