There is nothing like driving down the open roads of Florida with palm trees, beaches and the ocean flying by…especially if you’re lucky enough to be in an old 1950’s – 1960’s Cadillac. A great stretch to do just that is Pensacola down in the Florida panhandle. Pensacola is just a cool place to hang out and to forget the daily grind of life. You got sandy white beaches, aqua blue waters, great beach bars and a strip to really go back and forth on in that old Cadillac. The ‘City of 5 Flags’ has a ton of history and a great vibe that says welcome and relaxation. It’s also primo for some great Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper and Sailfish charter fishing. After a long day spinning the reels and baking in that hot sun, head out to one of the many tiki bars for some fruity cocktails and to exaggerate your day of fishing to the locals (Sneaky Tiki & Island Culture Tiki Bar are recommended). This bracelet was made to reflect a bygone era in Pensacola that still creeps up today. It’s a little difficult to explain the thought process that went into this piece. The minty green colors of The Huge Amazonite Stone Bead and Wood Beads along with the Stainless-Steel Nuts, Aluminum Disk Beads and Silver Matte Hematite resemble the look and feel of those old Cadillac Couple DeVille’s. The Ox Bone adds a little grittiness to the bracelet and the Bone Mala Skull is added as a reminder to you to always take the time to cruise the roads with a smile and a welcoming attitude. This bracelet has a nice, heavy feel to it and looks the part either in one of those rickety tiki bars or at da club in Miami which is a world away. It’s hard to give this one up because I lo ve the literal coolness and smooth feel of this bracelet on the wrist. Plus the minty greens and silvers really pop on the wrist. Does Pensacola have one of the coolest names on the planet or is it just me? When you do hear that name, you do conjure up those old visions of vacationing back in the romantic age of travel and cocktails in the 1950’s – 1960’s.
