Ahhhh...The Devil’s Staircase. What a majestic hike right in the middle of Glencoe, Scotland in the Scottish Highlands. The path is definitely a highlight of the West Highland Way and it will give your legs quite a workout and will bark your dogs. You climb about 400 meters in elevation over a short 1.5 mile stretch from Altnafeadh to Stob Mhic Mhartuin (West Highland’s Way highest point) and then on your way for another 5 miles to Kinlochleven. All those who have gone this way on the winding path know the haunted sights and sounds of the valley...aiyiyi...breathtaking, especially if the mist is up. However, watch your feet on those rocky steps on a damp, cold day or the devil will ”claim his own.“ This is just a cool dang bracelet and looks like something you would have gotten there yourself. The African Turquois Stones resemble the deep green colors of the Scottish Highland mountains, the Ox Bone and Stamped Brass add the ancient flavor of the land and history to this piece. The Huge Bone Mala Skull is there to represent all the wonders you will have in front of you and the Small Bone Mala Skull is there to remind you that the devil is always one step behind so stay alert. I also added a Vintage Scottish Bagpipe Brass Button that will plant those pipes in your ears as you walk through the Heather of them thar hills.
