The Treasure of The Sierra Madre is one of the best flicks ever made!  It has high adventure, good guys versus bad guys, great story, incredible acting, amazing cinematography, hardship & toil, madness, integrity, trust issues and redemption all wrapped up in one movie. It's directed by John Huston and stars Humphrey Bogart (Dobbs), Walter Huston (Howard) and Tim Holt (Curtin) and it came out in 1948. We all know the quote "We don't need no stinking badges" which is now famous in pop culture. Yep, you're saying it now aren't you? This movie makes an impression and stays with you for a very long time. This movie is the inspiration of this bracelet. It has 2 Bone and 1 Wood Mala Skulls to represent the 3 main characters in which one of them gives into madness (the wood one). The Dead Camel Jasper Beads have ingrained red speckles throughout to represent the blood, sweat and tears of three main our characters who chip away at the chalky stone to find their treasure. The Stamped Brass represents the gold the dug up from them thar hills and the Picture Jasper and Ox Bone resemble the surrounding and unforgiving desert terrain. I also added a Vintage 1966 Cinco Pesos Coin which represents the lucky coin Dobbs uses to pay for the lottery ticket---that ticket starts the adventure. If you've seen the movie, you'll dig this piece. It looks great on the hand. So go grab this little piece of treasure while you can and go do the Walter Huston dance!
