The Zulu Kingdom is sometimes referred to as the Zulu Empire or the Kingdom of Zululand. It grew to dominate much of what is today KwaZulu-Natal and Southern Africa and stretches from the coast of the Indian Ocean to the Tugela River in the south to Pongola River in the north. Lots of history here, wonderous wildlife and a landscape that is second-to-none...and we can't forget about the Zulu Warrior which was one of the toughest foot soldiers in history. If you just have a chance to gaze upon Ghost Mountain or the endless grasslands, it's worth your journey there. This bracelet just feels the part. I found these 30 year-old Recycled African Paper Beads (which are sealed) at an antique store years ago and the rich colors instantly reminded me of the tribal colors of that region. I added some Hand-Carved Water Buffalo Bone Beads and a Painted Seed Pod to make this bracelet look and feel like something you would pick-up in that region. I also added a Large Bone Mala Skull for you to channel that Zulu Warrior Spirit and to remind you to always watch over the land...wherever you step.
